Objective: In Texas Hold’em, the goal is to make the best five-card poker hand by using

Setup:
● Texas Hold’em is typically played with a standard 52-card deck.
● The game can accommodate 2 to 10 players.
Gameplay:
Blinds: The game starts with two players posting forced bets called the small
blind and big blind. The player to the left of the dealer posts the small blind, and
the player to their left posts the big blind.
Hole Cards: Each player is dealt two private cards, known as “hole cards” or
“pocket cards.” These cards are dealt face down.
Betting Round 1 (Pre-Flop): Starting with the player to the left of the big blind,
players have the option to fold (discard their hand), call (match the big blind), or

raise (increase the bet). Betting continues clockwise around the table until all
players have acted.
The Flop: After the first betting round, three community cards are dealt face up in
the center of the table. This is called “the flop.”
Betting Round 2 (Flop): Another round of betting ensues, starting with the player
to the left of the dealer. Players can check (pass the action), bet, call, raise, or
fold, depending on their hand and strategy.
The Turn: A fourth community card is dealt face up next to the flop. This card is
called “the turn” or “fourth street.”
Betting Round 3 (Turn): Another round of betting takes place, following the same
rules as the previous rounds.
The River: A fifth and final community card, known as “the river” or “fifth street,” is
dealt face up alongside the other community cards.
Betting Round 4 (River): The final round of betting occurs, following the same
format as previous rounds.
Showdown: If there are two or more players remaining after the final round of
betting, a showdown occurs. Players reveal their hole cards, and the player with
the best five-card poker hand wins the pot.
Hand Rankings (from highest to lowest):
● Royal Flush (A, K, Q, J, 10 of the same suit)
● Straight Flush (Five consecutive cards of the same suit)
● Four of a Kind (Four cards of the same rank)
● Full House (Three cards of one rank and two cards of  poker nother rank)
● Flush (Five cards of the same suit, not in sequence)
● Straight (Five consecutive cards of different suits)
● Three of a Kind (Three cards of the same rank)
● Two Pair (Two cards of one rank and two cards of another rank)
● One Pair (Two cards of the same rank)
● High Card (The highest card in the hand if no other hand is made)

Winning: The player with the best hand wins the pot. If two or more players have hands
of equal rank, the pot is split equally among them.
